Fall Harvest Still Life and Applesauce-Making
Thursday 9/18 4:00-6:00 PM
Artists draw what they see! Students will position a collection of fall fruits and vegetables into an eye-catching arrangement and capture what they see with soft pastels on paper. We’ll pause our work now and again to churn apples into applesauce using an old-fashioned food mill.

Pop Art Leaf Printmaking and "Rock in the Fist"
Thursday 10/9 4:00-6:00 PM
Leaves are falling and “Stick Season” is ahead! Students will explore the printmaking process using neon colors and make handmade paintbrushes with natural materials to pay tribute to the vibrancy of the fall season. As our prints dry, we will observe Indigenous Peoples’ Day by learning how to play “Rock in the Fist” and other traditional native games.

Ever wonder what kind of spooky mischief is happening behind the creaky, shuttered windows of a haunted house? Join us for this workshop to find out! Support our community by bringing cans of food to donate to the Livingston Food Resource Center.

Dynamic Figure Drawing and Sun Salutations
Thursday 11/6 4:00-6:00 pm
Led by a special guest, students will warm up their bodies, minds and hearts with a series of Sun Salutations and then create figure drawings of peers as they take turns moving into their favorite yoga pose.

A Meal for a Mouse with Polymer Clay and Notes of Gratitude

The drawings of artist and conservationist, Beatrix Potter, were inspired by her love of animals and nature…After being introduced to Peter Rabbit, Squirrel Nutkin and her other charming characters, students will use polymer clay to create a miniature meal fit for the tiniest of creatures! And you never know, a few little notes of gratitude may find their way into the nooks and crannies of your life as well…

Winter Solstice Candle Holders and Setting Intentions

Join us as we delight in the darkness and welcome in the light! During this workshop, we will transform an ordinary glass jar into a twinkly and magical lantern using colorful tissue paper and the decoupage process. As we work, we will set intentions for the new year.
